The GCF/SharePoint components that are installed on the GCF computer are in addition to the base components provided with the GCF that are also installed on the Meridian Enterprise application server:
GCF Remote Access component – Communicates with the SQL Server database through the GCF Remote Access Web Service.
The component installation tasks are listed in the order in which they should be performed in the following table and are described in the remainder of this guide. Use the hyperlinks in the following checklist to find the installation information for each task.
